Over the last 18 years, I have personally been involved with five MLM companies, been assaulted by a few more, and have researched dozens.
After having little or no success with most of them, I want to provide a forum for regular people to see the truth before they get involved. Here's a taste of what I've learned:
Truth #1
Only 2% of MLMers are successful in their "business"
Truth #2
Most companies masquerade around with the motivation of "helping" people with their product(s). Actually, they thrive off of doling out hype and creating false hope of big-buck incomes. They promote recruiting, recruiting, recruiting -- that's how most money is made in the typical compensation plan.
Truth #3
Many products can be purchased at local stores for much cheaper than what you can buy them for through MLM.

- I have been married for almost 10 years; we have 2 beautiful boys both under 4 years. I have a Master's Degree in Organization Leadership and a B.A. from University of California, Davis in Organizational Studies with an emphasis in Communications. I am a pilgrim in the MLM industry. I absolutely love the concept of working now and reaping residual income later. However, I am very disenchanted with MLM companies, their leadership, their compensation programs, and especially, their hype!
