Guthy-Renker Partners with MLM for First Time

You know about Guthy-Renker infomercials? If you don't, you definitely aren't much of a TV watcher. But you might be one of those channel surfers who blows through the boob tube and happens to catch someone selling their wares. In fact, most have seen the sometimes hokey, but effective, informercials - from Tony Little's Gazelle exercise equipment to Tony Robbins' motivational CDs. And the most recent - Jessica Simpson's Proactiv facial cream. Guthy Renker is the gold standard in the infomercial space, a multi-billion dollar company.

Fact#1: Guthy-Renker is presented with hundreds of products a year.

Fact#2: Most inventors and business people of mass-market products desperately want to partner with G-R to get a slice of the infomercial world.

Fact#3: Guthy-Renker carefully CHOOSES who they want to work with given their criteria.

Question: What does it say about a product/company when G-R chooses to partner with them?

Well, in April 2007 they announced their partnership with a health/wellness MLM company founded by Steve Scott and others. This is a first. They saw the value in the product and leadership, and will begin to produce infomercials once the sales force reaches 10,000+ according to Co-Master Distributor, William Anderson.

Currently Dr. Keller's nutraceutical company is growing at a rate of 30% per month. The first 6 weeks of the Pre-Launch on February 1, 2007 grossed over $1.5 million.

The plan is that leads brought in by the infomercials will be funneled to the current distributors. This bodes well for the 98% of MLMers who would rather have people come to them rather than the MLMer going out into the cold market. Television advertising has always been extremely expensive. But with Guthy-Renker behind the rollout, there is a lot of confidence in the future growth of the company.

Having TIME Means Everything

Unless you are one of the ultra-rich, it takes more time to earn more money. But money without time to spend it is a cruel paradox of life. So it is money + time that create true options in life.

How can one be successful with wealth AND have time with family and friends? It's virtually impossible. Ask anyone making a six figure income by himself (not two spouses added together) if he has the time he wants to do what he wants....I guarantee the answer is flat no.

My cousin Marcus, for example, has a thriving mortgage refinancing lead business. I know he earns well into six figures. But, he has little or no time to really enjoy all he has and worked for. I empathize with him. It takes so much time to keep all the balls in the air.


That's why I like MLM. There is no other industry where I can purchase a business for $50 and end up multiplying that by thousands AND have time left over for family -- or whatever it is that floats your boat. That is no risk in my book.

How can this extra time work out? It is THE concept that MLMers really get excited about, and rightly so: Residual Income.

Residual,or passive income, is a beautiful concept if you understand it. Simply, it means receiving income now for work you did in the past.

For example, if I write a book and sell it, then I receive money for writing the book and selling it! Duh. But, what about when more and more people keep buying it for months or even years? That's right, now I am receiving income for work I did in the past. That's residual income. Powerful.
